Common questions about Weiguru
How does offline mode work?
Weiguru is built to work 100% offline. All features, content, and data are stored locally on your device. You never need an internet connection to use the app. This means you can use Weiguru anywhere—on the subway, in the mountains, or anywhere without WiFi.
Do you track my data?
No, never. We do not track, collect, or transmit any of your data. Everything stays on your device. We don't use analytics, telemetry, or any tracking services. Your wellness journey is completely private.
Is the app accessible?
Yes! Accessibility is core to Weiguru. Every movement in our library has three options: seated, standing, and floor-based. We support font scaling, screen readers, and have designed the interface to be clear and easy to navigate for all abilities.
What payment model do you use?
Weiguru is available as a free download with optional in-app purchases or a one-time purchase. We don't use subscription models. Check your app store for current pricing.
How do I export my data?
You can export all your data from within the app at any time. Go to Settings > Data Management > Export Data. Your data will be exported in standard formats (JSON, CSV) that you can use elsewhere or keep as a backup.
Can I use it without an account?
Yes! You don't need to create an account to use Weiguru. Simply download the app and start using it immediately. No email, no username, no password required.
What CBT resources do you use?
Our CBT curriculum is based on validated Cognitive Behavioral Therapy principles. We provide 32+ lessons covering thought reframing, cognitive distortions, behavioral activation, and evidence-based wellness strategies. Content is designed to be educational and supportive, not diagnostic or therapeutic.
Does Weiguru diagnose or treat medical conditions?
No. Weiguru is a wellness tool, not a medical device or treatment. It is designed to support your wellness journey through education and gentle guidance. If you have medical concerns, please consult a healthcare professional.
How do I delete my data?
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it anytime from Settings > Data Management > Delete All Data. Uninstalling the app will also remove all data from your device. We never have access to your data, so there's nothing to delete on our end.
What if I lose my device?
Since Weiguru stores data locally without cloud backup, losing your device means losing your data (unless you've exported it). We recommend periodically exporting your data as a backup. However, this local-only approach is also what guarantees your privacy.
Can I sync across devices?
No. Because Weiguru is completely offline and privacy-first, there is no syncing between devices. Each device maintains its own local data. You can export data from one device and import it to another manually if needed.
Is Weiguru available on iOS and Android?
Yes! Weiguru is available on both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). Both versions have the same features and commitment to privacy.
